Cimas exhibits in Ryad at the Middle East Poultry Expo

A new trade fair appointment for Cimas, this time of international scope: the Cimas company, in partnership with Ovorider and Sanovo, participated in the “Middle East Poultry Expo “, an important Poultry Sector Fair sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, the World Association of Poultry Sciences and the Ministry of Trade and Exports of Saudi Arabia. Cimas, with the foresight that has always characterized it, was therefore present with his team to represent the dynamism of Made in Italy also in the poultry sector, an important pole of economic development and reference for commercial and scientific exchange between international suppliers and local investors.

The exhibition format has opened up new business opportunities for Cimas in the growing poultry market, a truly strategic sector to help shape the future of poultry production and inputs in the Gulf and Middle East. Senior industry decision makers from corporations, government agencies and houses of experts then met, with a view to cooperation and of growth.

CIMAS is present in Italy in Ponte Felcino, the village where more than 150 years ago was born. Today the Group ranks among the most important European companies that meet the needs of those who require the most advanced storage systems and the best systems dedicated to improving production processes in feed mills.

Today the baton is in the hands of the fifth and sixth generation: Genni Laurenzi (daughter of Giuseppe Puccio Laurenzi) is the current CEO, Mattia and Marco Nataloni, two of the four children, respectively hold a commercial and administrative role.

In 2003 the company created, in the industrial development district of Bizerte, Tunisia, Cimas Industrie S.a.r.l. with the aim of having an operational tool capable of guaranteeing skills and services to those market areas characterized by a high growth rate in the agriculture and livestock sector.

Having brought the name of our company within one of the most important business circuits in the Gulf and the Middle East confirms our propensity to invest and at this time also to take on entrepreneurial risk. The comparison with high-profile managers from foreign countries and the exchange of opinions and reflections with important Italian entrepreneurs present constituted a stimulus and a confirmation: Cimas wants to be the protagonist of its reference sector. One of the key aspects to better manage a business in the current period, harassed by the difficulties of a pandemic that caused a reduction in GDP comparable to that of the World War II, is to keep innovation and dynamism alive.

What we have been trying to do in the company for 6 generations is just that: keeping up with the technologies that our sector requires, creating new technologies and internationalizing. ” (Mattia Nataloni, Cimas Export Sales Director).
