The latest issue of Industrie Alimentari is now available

 

The food future is now: development, function, and sustainability. We reaffirm this in the latest AITA page, concluding this issue. But first, in our scientific special, we highlight the sustainability concept, with a mapping of the alternative agri-food supply chain and Italian virtuous best practices in line with the Agenda 2030 goals.

Also industry and large-scale retail trade choose sustainable packaging: we present fourth edition Consumer Packaging Observatory data, by Nomisma. And we turn to digitalization for sustainable deep tech, with the main innovation trends in the agri-food tech sector emerged in occasion of Feeding The Future: Towards Sustainable Food Tech Ecosystems, organized in Milan by Appetite for Disruption, with UniCredit and PwC Italia.

Finally, the Nomisma data on the Italian organic market connotes a reflection on sustainability. Why do consumers buy organic products?
