The World’s Leading Trade Fair – Technology for Meat
and Alternative Proteins
From 14 to 19 May 2022, IFFA returns to Frankfurt, the three-year international trade fair dedicated to the processing, storage, refrigeration, packaging and meat’s sale, and the new entry of the 2022 edition is the transformation of vegetable proteins.
IFFA will be held live again in May with an international offer and many new features. More than 900 exhibitors from all over the world will participate at the show covering the exhibition halls 8, 9, 11 and 12.
In addition to meat products, for the first time IFFA offers particular attention to the ingredients and production processes of vegetable proteins, thus providing a professional platform for this rapidly growing segment. The exhibitors will present their innovations and the most advanced technologies, in line with the latest trends.
Among the issues and trends that will be presented in a few months, sustainability represents a very important focus for change and innovation also in the meat industry.
Plant-based protein meat substitutes as well as vegan and vegetarian alternatives are experiencing a real boom and reflect the trend towards sustainable and animal-friendly foods. IFFA 2022 resumes and will be the promoter of this new trend.
Among the digital innovations, the protagonist of the event will be IFFA Contactor, the new online search engine that will provides complete and constantly updated information on all exhibitors and their innovations, on products of the meat and protein industry, 365 days a year. There will be also moments of training and exchange of ideas, as well as a rich program of side events, butchery competitions and IFFA Discovery Tours.
