Ricciarelli, which has always specialized in industrial automation and in the design of packaging systems for the food sector, has recently developed new technologies belonging to a new vision of the market. Research and innovation have played a decisive role in this field: the streets taken by the company, in fact, have pursued two very specific points of reference such as environmental sustainability and energy saving, both of which are very hot topics in the packaging sector.
For the first point, the continuous attention that the society is paying to the environmental protection has led Ricciarelli’s research team to confront with the need to develop devices able to treat new materials while trying to maintain the same production performance obtained with plastic films: good results were found with various eco-sustainable packaging made, for example, with raw materials deriving from cellulose (and therefore refillable in the wet) or with paper. In addition, Ricciarelli has encouraged the research for new proposals for case packaging, another valid alternative in terms of sustainability.
On the other side, Ricciarelli has developed systems that allow an increasingly simple and immediate management of the machinery, through interfaces installation designed to offer high levels of ergonomics. Today the technicians have the opportunity to connect to machinery at any time and manage many operations remotely: in a world that constantly changes and evolves as the one we live in today, this is a fundamental help for the customers.
