SEW-EURODRIVE opened its new Drive Center in Caserta, which includes a Service Center and DriveAcademy®, with technical and sales offices, training rooms and a workshop dedicated to repairs, remanufacturing, mapping and other services.
With the aim of strengthening its proximity to its partners in southern Italy, SEW-EURODRIVE has opened a new Drive Center in Carinaro, in the province of Caserta. It is a modern and technologically advanced facility that includes a Service Center and a DriveAcademy®. The new location houses technical and sales offices, training rooms and a workshop entirely dedicated to repairs, remanufacturing, mapping and many other services.
In line with the goals of decarbonization, digitization and decentralization summarized in the company’s claim “Be SEWstainable!“, SEW-EURODRIVE built the Caserta Drive Center with the intention of offering greater efficiency and reduced environmental impact. The birth of this new facility responds, in fact, to the need to be more present in Southern Italy, with more efficient services and even faster delivery times, to consolidate relationships with partners in the area and build a sustainable future together.
In order to ensure greater connectivity, flexibility and less impact on people and the environment, it is essential to offer services that reduce waste, prolong the reliability of automation components and reuse available resources. With its in-house Service Center, the new Drive Center in Caserta provides all the services to ensure maximum component reliability and extend the useful life of automation systems, while respecting the environment.

With the Up To Next remanufacturing program, gearmotors are as good as new in just seven working days, with the same quality, restored performance and a two-year warranty.
Analysis on the installed can be used to identify critical components for which it is essential to have a spare in stock. Streamline’s solution mapping service includes both management and control of spare parts in stock.
With the aim of ensuring maximum productivity for the customer, SEW-EURODRIVE’s repair service includes urgent on-demand or routine repairs, either at the Drive Center or directly on site, as well as any custom adjustments and modifications according to specific needs with the issuance of the respective electronic documentation.
Condition monitoring via the APPredict web app is also always active to monitor the health of the gearmotor and know the actual oil life, working temperature and vibration data. With APPredict, it is easier to prioritize components that show a variation from standard values and initiate the relevant maintenance procedures, with the aim of improving productivity and optimizing processes while reducing operating costs.
In case of urgent need for spare parts or engines and electronic components, the new Drive Center in Caserta can assemble the component and deliver it the same day the order is sent. Urgent assembly service reduces system or facility downtime and ensures greater reliability.
The Drive Center also ensures the immediate availability and supply of genuine SEW-EURODRIVE spare parts.
In addition, the Pick Up and Delivery Service ensures quick pickup and inspection of parts through the Pick Up Box, which allows the customer to decide when and where to make the pickup of the container, delivered on a free loan basis, and subsequent delivery.
SEW-EURODRIVE’s qualified service staff takes care of everything necessary: from providing the Pick-Up Box for pickup to transportation and delivery of a new container.
The new Drive Center also offers plant inspection and maintenance services, as well as Retrofit, which allows action to modernize the plant by integrating the latest drive technologies that improve its availability and safety.
Finally, to enable customers to learn about the functionality, installation and maintenance of SEW-EURODRIVE products, the Drive Center offers technical training and refresher courses. In addition to in-person learning sessions at the DriveAcademy®, free digital learning opportunities are also available and can be accessed anytime and from any device.
