With SEW-EURODRIVE’s Up To Next remanufacturing program, used gearmotors are as new again in just seven working days, with the same quality, restored performance and a two-year warranty. The gearmotor is totally regenerated thanks to a program specifically developed to preserve the environment, increase the useful life of the components by reducing costs and waste and prolong the reliability of the systems.
Up To Next remanufacturing program allows you to extend the life cycle of SEW gearmotors through a regeneration process that involves the replacement of worn parts and components that affect the performance or useful life of the gearmotor. The repair takes place in just seven days and the regenerated gearmotor has a two-year guarantee.
By giving new life to the gearmotors to bring them back to their original performance through the replacement of worn parts only and the reassembly of all the other components, SEW-EURODRIVE intends to offer a concrete contribution to the protection of the environment and natural resources, in line with the values of social responsibility and sustainable development which have always inspired the company’s activity. In fact, the Up To Next program represents a circular economy solution , which makes it possible to reduce the use of raw materials and the CO2 emissions that would be generated with the direct disposal of malfunctioning products and the production of new gearmotors.
Furthermore, the Up To Next remanufacturing program allows you to reduce time and costs , because the remanufactured gearmotor is ready in just seven working days and at a lower cost than a new one. All while ensuring excellent system reliability , given that the remanufactured gearmotors offer the same performance as the new ones and are covered by a twenty-four month guarantee on the entire component.
SEW-EURODRIVE remanufacturing differs from standard repair and other forms of recovery of worn components in its completeness. In fact, this service allows for a total regeneration of the gearmotor , which is refurbished to restore all the original characteristics in terms of quality, performance and reliability.
The program is currently available for four gearmotor sizes (57, 67, 77, 87), with R / K / F / S series gearboxes and DRN.. / DRN.. motor with brake.
In order to access Up To Next, certain requirements are required: the gearbox casing must be intact and reusable, as well as the stator, rotor, brake and encoder/resolver of the motor.
After sending the request for remanufacturing of the gearmotor to be regenerated, it must be sent to the SEW-EURODRIVE factory in Solaro. The gearmotor received is inspected to verify the requirements necessary for remanufacturing. If it meets these requirements, disassembly is carried out. The reusable parts are then cleaned, new SEW original components are prepared for the parts to be replaced and the gearmotor is then reassembled. New oil , final inspection and painting are the last stages of the remanufacturing process before delivery.
